Time has come to start my campaign for the US House of Representatives. Many folks, who would be my political consultants, volunteer that I should raise funds, dress in impeccable suits and get that "not a hair out-of-place" styling, i.e., maintain the status quo.
Not going to happen!
Current federal legislators, our incumbent included, already do all the things mentioned above and manage to sustain a 10% approval rating.
Please check out my blog at the following link:
Blue Boomer Our incumbent legislators are well funded by means known as "quid pro quo." These politicians spend most of their time raising money and work on the rare occassions allowed by the constant need to pester any and everybody for more contributions.
Some funds will need to be garnered for my campaign. However, if the Internet remains neutral and visiting with constituents remains reasonably affordable, then the need for perpetual fund raising ends.
Do you want to maintain the status quo of flashy appearances and big money, quid pro quo, where more is never enough?
Style or substance?
Think, decide, register and vote!
